Guest stamper- Alyssa Pytlik

Back to my crafty night with the craftsomniacs group!  Here are Alyssa's creations.

The first card is the one we made and second card Alyssa's swap.

Whenever I get an 'Alyssa' card, I look forward to it and I got two this time!  I love her designs and the colors she puts together.

I loved making this card.  It was easy and used a lot of elements that could make it a female card or remove the flowers and it could easily be a male card.  Very versatile!

I really love this card.  The colors are just so yummy together- literally- cantaloupe , pistachio pudding, and crumb cake- yes please!

Again with the elements- glimmer paper, jewels, mixed-in with rustic ribbon and the crumb cake inked around the card giving it a shabby chic look.  It just looks beautiful.

I'm off of work today and getting ready for family from out-of-state visiting.  Got to clean my craft room/ guest room!  hee hee

Paper Pumpkin- June 2013

HELLO to you. I love the paper pumpkin kit for this month.  The stamps are a must-have.  I can't wait to get together with our paper pumpkin group on June 27th started by my upline Niki.

Here is the card for June:

I LOVE this stamp set!  The heart and the chevron square are a must-have for sure!  This is why I subscribe to the kit.  I can't be left out of any stamp set.  Plus it is a surprise each month and it is like opening a present!

I love the hexagons.  Too cute!  I can't wait to make more cards at our group!  Contact me if you would like to be a part of our paper pumpkin group.  I know you will love it!

Guest Stamper- Caroline Barth

I LOVE this card! Caroline Barth couldn't make it to our crafty night awhile ago but she participated in the swap we did.  I am so glad she did!  Check out her card:

The chalkboard look is so trendy right now.  This card looks like it was a lot of work.  The style is really cute.  I love how Caroline put the lines in there like she was writing with chalk.  Very cute!!

The butterflies were such a good touch- my fav, hee hee.  Why do I need this stamp set?  The 'make a WISH come true' stamp.  I need it! lol.  I definitely need this stamp set so I can re-create this great card.

You're such an amazing father- true story

Here is the card that I made at Niki's class some time ago.  It came in handy for the kids to give to their dad.  I had to amend the card a little.  You can see Niki's version here.  Mine-well, I had a little mishap with the date stamp.  So what do I do? Put a sticker to cover up my mistake.  True story.

The sticker is so silly.  It says 'True story home slice.'  I love the Epic Day stickers.  They are a must-have.  Stampin' Up! is branching out and selling some really cute sassy stamps, stickers, and embellishments I like it.  I especially love the sticker because it is a nod to our favorite show 'How I Met Your Mother.' One of our favorite characters is Barney and he will lie through his teeth about something and then say 'True story' and the end.  It is so silly and funny.  That is my husband- always the jokester.  However, it is true that he is an amazing father and an amazing husband.

Happy Father's Day to you Gary!!!

Guest stamper- Sarah Camarillo

Quite a while ago some of us girls got together and we did a shoebox swap and a regular swap.  What is a shoebox swap?  All of the ingredients to make a cute card including consumables in a shoebox and all the participants need to do is stamp, punch, and put it together.  It was so  much fun!  Here is Sarah's creations.  The first card was the one we made, and second card was the one she swapped.

How cute are these cards??  I love the cheerful colors of the best friend card and I think that the baby card seems so sophisticated. Love it!

This card was easy to put together and I love the layout.  You can never go wrong with butterflies. They are my favorite embellishment.

I love how both of her cards had the artisan label punch and coordinating stamp set 'Label love.' I think I need to buy it!

Minion Card- Guest stamper Andrea Enns

So my sister Andrea is amazing!!!  She made the cutest card for Devan for his kindergarten promotion.  My son loves the movie 'Despicable Me.'  Check out this cute card made with the SU Owl builder punch.

Seriously, how cute is this card???  My sister got the idea from pinterest and I love it!!

I told her that there was a lot of punching and little pieces and she said that it was totally worth it for Devan. She really does {{heart}} my little guy.

Googly eyes??? Yes please! They are a must for this adorable card.  Devan really loves this card and was carrying it around. I had to kind-of steal it for my stash so that I can re-create it for an awesome kids card!  Hee hee. Don't tell Devan!

Take two

Here is a Father's day card I made using the same layout as yesterday.  Easy right?   I can't seem to think outside the box right now. Lol!

I think I like this version better because of the DSP.  I need to make more masculine cards and this paper works for that.  Soho subway DSP is very interesting.  The card is going to my father-in-law.  As a child my husband lived in New York for awhile and he loved visiting New York City. I think my hubby really liked the card.  Dang it!  I should have saved it for him.  Oh well, I am giving him the one I posted some time ago.  You can see it here

Hope I can get some more crafting in and get some posts done.  I also need to share some really great projects from my crafty friends.

The worst case of crafters block

I am having the worst case of crafters block.  I can't focus to complete anything right now.  However, I got the new Stampin' Success catalog in the mail and it helped me come up with a card for my co-worker who is recovering from an illness.  The card is late-due to my inability to create right now.  There is no excuse with all of the great new products.  I think I am on overload.  Also, I am going to convention and I am stressing out on what to make for a swap.

Here's  my card:

Simple right?  It took me an hour to make this card! Seriously, I'm in trouble! Hopefully with the new mini in my hot little hands I can get back into the swing of things creatively!

Another Grad card- can't get enough

My friend wanted some grad cards and they had to be green.  Seems like a popular school color.  This is a total case from Jill's ink blog.  You can see a video and download a PDF here. I love this card.

The year at the bottom?  Great with the die cut numbers. I thought about stamping the numbers but like the size of the Bigz Alphabet Typeset.

How about the ribbon tassle? What a great technique! Her video shows you how to create the tassle from the SU ribbon so that it can coordinate.  Love it!

Here is a little extra share where I made cute cups for my daughters 8th grade teachers.  T is for teacher and thank you.
